Prep Notes

no added unhealthy stuffs!

it is incredibly simple to make and so delicious to add when you cook grains, soups or stews or just in warm water.

Cooking Time

1 or 2 hours for drying it (I know it seems a long time, but you do it just once and then you use it for a long time!)

Yields

1 medium jar

Ingredients

2 red onions

3 stalks celery

10 chard leaves (mangold) or any other leafy green

2 garlic cloves

4 carrots

15 small tomatoes (cherry like)

2 tablespoon tumeric powder

1 tablespoon salt (optional)

3 tablespoons nutitional yeast (optional)

2 or 3 tablespoons crushed dulse seaweeds

Directions

  • place all the veggies into a blender and mix on high speed until a smoothie consistency , add few tablespoons of water if needed, but don't make it too liquid
  • add tumeric, salt and nutritional yeast and mix a little more
  • place the batter on a parchment paper on an oven tray and make it evenly and thin spread with a spatula
  • turn on the oven at 100°C ventilated and place the tray inside
  • after one hour check it and scrape it a bit with a fork to see how much more it needs to dry up
  • after is completely dry let it cool down a little bit
  • then scrape all the parchment paper into the blender or coffe grinder
  • add the seaweeds and start to grind until it becomes powder
  • store it in a glass jar in the fridge for up to one year

Notes

make this on your own adding and replacing with your favourite veggies, seaweeds, herbs or spices.
