supreme carrob spread (much better then nutella, I promise!)

roasting nuts-about 15 minutes


a small jar


  • 1 cup hazelnuts
  • 1 cup almonds
  • 4 table spoons carrob powder
  • 3 table spoon coconut sugar (or raw honey)
  • 1 tea spoon coconut oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla powder


roast the nuts in the oven on 180°/200° for about 15 minutes.

peel the nuts roughly, rubbing them in a cloth; so the friction will remove the majority of the skin of the nuts.

put them into the blender and start to pulse until they are like a flour, then add the rest of the ingredient.

keep mixing until evrything is smooth.

store in a glass jar for about a month ( I doubt it will last you that long, is incredibly yummi!)


enjoy on breads/rice cakes,pancakes or.. on bananas, as we like it!
