sweet potatoe brownie with coconut yogurt

vegan and gluten free (choose 100% certified gluten free oats if needed)

I cooked already the sweet potatoes in the oven with the peel , just cutted half and turned so the skin is out and the inside on the parchmetn paper. until soft then remove the skin and let them cool down.

sweet potatoes have great nutrients to add in your family's diets.

about 10 squares


1 cup sweet potatoes puree ( 1 large or 2 small)

6 pitted dates

2 tablespoon maple syrup

1/2 cup walnut flour/butter (grind walnuts yourself)

1/4 cup oat flour (grind oats yourself)

1 tablespoon coconut oil

4 tablespoons raw cacao powder (try the batter before baking and adjust to your own taste)

a pinch of salt


  • pre-heat the oven 180°C
  • place all the ingredients into a mixer/blender until you reach the nice batter texture
  • pour the batter into a small/medium baking dish with parchment paper
  • bake it for 45/50 minutes
  • let it cool down for 10 minutes or so
  • enjoy with coconut yogurt on top!


you can replace the walnuts with any other nuts you have on hand, I guess with sunflower seeds would work too if you are nuts allergic.
